Marshall’s Updated Motif II ANC Earbuds Bump the Battery Life

Marshall has made a name for itself in the music space in recent years with their line of ultra-high-quality headphones and earbuds. Now, they’re upping the stakes again with the Motif II ANC earbuds, a pair of compact, wireless headphones that combine active noise cancellation with rich sound, thick bass, and a highly dynamic sound stage.

The second-gen model maintains the same IPX5 water-resistance rating for the earbuds and IPX4 rating for the charging case, and the 33-foot Bluetooth range remains the same though the headphones are now compatible with Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth LE Audio.

Battery life with the charging case is a solid 30 hours with ANC active, or 43 hours if you rely only on the passive noise canceling of the snug-fitting earbud tips.

On their own, the headphones get 6 to 9 hours of run time (depending on ANC use) before they need to be charged.

Charge time has been slashed in half to just 90 minutes on the second-gen model, and the Marshall app lets you fast-charge the headphones for an extra two hours of runtime in just 15 minutes.
